OTTAWA, April 3, 2014 – The Canadian Association of Statutory Human Rights Agencies (CASHRA) acknowledges that  Canada’s First Report under the UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (CRPD) identifies a wide range of legislation, policies and programs in place at all levels of government to promote and protect the rights of persons with disabilities in Canada.
